King of broom

Riet Duri Clown falls madly in love with his broom and discovers the endless possibilities of this prosaic object.

Valiantly he rides it across the yard, then whirls it around in stupendous feats of juggling. He lets it polish his shoes, sends a glass bottle looping through the air on it and, last but not least, he kicks it up in the air … catching and balancing it with his nose, while topping it all off with a magnificent finale on the trumpet.

This all makes for an intriguing spectacle, close to the public, touching, and deeply comical.
